Pengdu Agriculture & Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. is a controlled subsidiary of Shanghai Pengxin Group. With years of deep focus in the agricultural food sector, it manages the beef and dairy cattle business, primarily beef cattle breeding, slaughtering, and processing. In Yunnan, the company built a "Highland Beef Cattle Industry Demonstration Park" integrating research, breeding, seed stock expansion, and feed processing into a complete beef cattle value chain. Currently, Pengxin operates ten ranches nationwide with a herd of 78,000 head of cattle, a leading breeding scale in the country. Given the substantial capital requirements and strict cost controls in beef cattle farming, Pengxin urgently needed to improve data granularity, establish a digitally integrated business platform, control production costs, and achieve precision, high-standard livestock management. MTC helped Pengxin build a global integrated beef cattle industry management platform powered by SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud. This serves as both a critical enabler for Pengxin's digital transformation and the key competitive advantage that keeps them leading the domestic beef cattle industry.
