SAP Business One's Administration & Extensibility module addresses the need for internal control (who can do what, and who approves exceptions) alongside system extension and integration with external applications. It provides an authorization mechanism that controls access by user and by function, approval procedures that enforce sign-off on documents exceeding defined limits, and user-defined fields, tables, and objects (UDF/UDT/UDO) together with development interfaces (the DI API and the OData-based Service Layer). This lets organizations adapt the system to their own processes and integrate with external systems while maintaining internal control and compliance.
