Yes. Web Client and the SAP Business One desktop client share the same backend database, syncing in real time with no data fragmentation.

Can the Web Client replace the desktop client?

Web Client supports day-to-day documents, lookups, approvals and analysis, while the desktop client handles system configuration and other administration. They share the same data, and MTC plans the working setup around each role and business process.

Does the Web Client cost extra?
