A 13-year SAP Business One client upgraded and migrated to SAP S/4HANA version 1809, building an integrated information platform for production, supply, sales, HR, finance, and materials targeting group-level operations. Performance Fibers (Kaiping) Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of polyester plant fiber and fabrics in China by production scale, established in 1996. Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, USA, Performance Fibers is a world-leading supplier of industrial high-tenacity polyester fiber and fabrics. As early as 2006, Performance Fibers Kaiping began using SAP Business One, leveraging its lightweight and agile characteristics to continuously optimize internal management processes and build a digitally integrated finance-operations team. As the group expanded rapidly across multiple business segments, in 2018 they decided to upgrade from SAP Business One to SAP S/4HANA. This upgrade project covered the group's entities in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia — including trading companies and production plants — spanning Financial Management (FICO), Sales Management (SD), Procurement and Warehouse Management (MM), Production Management (PP), Human Resources (HR), and a barcode system.
