① Background

Who They Are

CTC Group was founded in 1979 as a large-scale comprehensive livestock enterprise jointly invested by Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group and America's Continental Grain Company. It was also the first wholly foreign-owned feed enterprise registered in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone after China's reform and opening up, with registration number "Shen Foreign Investment Certificate No. {1981} 0001."

To date, CTC Group's business spans complete feed, premix feed, animal health, and livestock farming. The group has established 9 feed companies, 1 animal health company, and 4 livestock farming companies across Shenzhen, Shantou, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Yangjiang, Qingyuan, Meizhou, and Kaifeng, maintaining steady and robust growth throughout.

MTC helped CTC Group implement digital and intelligent platform management across its three major business segments (hog farming, animal feed, and animal health) based on the SAP ERP system. At "forty without confusion," CTC Group leveraged the system to achieve granular digital management and Amoeba operations, driving production-sales coordination and headcount optimization while embedding digitalization into daily operations and management, building a highway for digital transformation.

What the Client Says

Digitalization and informatization present a great opportunity for Chinese enterprises to leapfrog their international counterparts. If a disruptive management model or innovation model is to emerge in the agriculture and livestock industry, it will inevitably be built on digitalization and informatization. This is an irreversible trend.
